Default Folder X 4.4.9 adds Favorites via Finder contextual menus, fixes a crash when opening URLs and more.
Screencast: Default Folder X Overview		Default Folder 4.4.9 gives you a contextual menu in the Finder for adding Favorites, adds support for Automator workflows, addresses compatibility issues and fixes a critical bug. We urge all users to update to this version. This update is FREE if you own a license for version 4, or if you purchased a new version 3 license or upgrade on or after June 1, 2007. What's new in Default Folder X 4.4.9

• A new "Add to Default Folder X Favorites" command in the Finder's contextual menus lets you quickly add the selected folder as a favorite. After installing Default Folder X, you must enable the Service in the Keyboard Shortcuts tab of the Keyboard preferences in System Preferences.
• Default Folder X now supports Automator workflows in Lion, and will support the next version of Automatic Duck's Pro Import AE plugin for AfterEffects.
• A bug that caused crashes when applications opened http URLs has been fixed. This resolves problems with Sandvox, among other applications.
• Updated the click-to-copy-filenames feature so it only works when the correct modifier keys are held down.
• Resolved problems with Default Folder X forgetting favorite folders on some networked drives.
• Fixed the way Default Folder X locates the file shown in the frontmost document of Carbon applications running under Mac OS 10.7.

Tagging

You can tag your files in Default Folder X and then modify or search for those tags later using Spotlight or any OpenMeta-compatible tagging application. Any of the following applications work with Default Folder X to manage your OpenMeta tags:
